We are glad you thought so. If there was ever a time when the internet would become a pivotal medium in every way, it's now. With use of the internet higher than ad spend on the medium, it makes you wonder what advertisers and their agencies are thinking. Thanks for your comment!

I agree that branded cards with rewards programs, such as the partnerships that Chase is making in the US, could be a hit in the pre-paid world in Latin-America.
Furthermore, pre-paid cards will become a bigger part of the US market as people with good old credit scores go into bankruptcy and their long standing credit lines get closed down. Pre-paid cards are the first step into repairing

That’s definitely the way that things are heading. However, as the article points out, no clear standard has yet been developed and there are dozens of companies worldwide trying to get a foothold in the mobile payments space. Most will fail and only those that bring in the right strategic players will survive.
